CIC Hard Drive Utility

The Clinical Technology Solutions CIC / Telemetry Server Utility is a diagnostic and maintenance tool for your GE CIC and telemetry server fleet.

Supported Equipment (by Serial Number Prefix)

• CARESCAPE Central Station V1 — MP100 — serial number starting with “SGJ”
• MP100R — serial number starting with “SEE”
• MP100D — serial number starting with “SDY”
• CIC Pro™ — Bedrock — serial number starting with “SCH”
• CIC Pro™ — Bedrock — serial number starting with “JA”

Supported Features

• CIC hard drive status and hard drive hours
• Power-on count and power-on hours
• Network IP scan and IP testing tools
• Screen capture utility (to send screenshots to support)
• Backup options: copy CIC backup to USB drive, copy log files off the CIC to USB
• Change time on the CIC

Usage — Bedrock (Versions 4x & 5x)

• Insert a USB drive into an open USB slot on the running Bedrock CIC
• From the CIC Setup screen, select the Service Password tab
• At the C:\Program Files\Marquette\CIC\X.0.x> prompt, type F: and press Enter
• In the command prompt window, type menu and press Enter
• This opens a new window — type 2 and press Enter to launch the program
• Select Drive D: (hard drive) from the buttons under the menu at the top and verify the health status

Note: Drive C: and E: are the Compact Flash.

Usage — MP100 (Versions 5x & 6x), CARESCAPE Central Station V2 and CTS

• Insert a USB drive into an open USB slot on the running Bedrock CIC
• From the CIC Setup screen, select the Service Password tab
• At the C:\Program Files\Marquette\CIC\5.0.x> prompt, type H: and press Enter
• In the command prompt window, type menu and press Enter
• This opens a new window — type 2 and press Enter to launch the program
• Select Drive G: from the buttons under the menu at the top and verify the health status
• Record the power-on hours in your tracking spreadsheet, if applicable
